While Alep is an early-stage startup, we have a well-defined MVP, a clear product vision, support from angel investors, and is are on the brink of welcoming our first customers.

Based in the UK, we're open to remote collaborations, but we do value quality face-time. Being UK-based is advantageous for this reason. Alep AI was Founded by Matty Cusden-Ross, who was previously the CEO & Founder of fintech Flux which raised £10mn+ and saw integration into Barclays, Tier 1 retailers and a user base of 1.3mn. Prior to Flux Matty was the 2nd employee at Revolut where he drove user growth from 0 to 100k and tapped a 400k+ growth channel.

Role: Technical Lead or CTO

Technical Lead Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 years in AI/NLP technologies, with practical experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience in scalable cloud architecture design and deployment.
• A demonstrated commitment to data security, with prior experience being a plus.
• Passion for early-stage company involvement and solving complex, innovative problems.
• Ideally, experience in the startup ecosystem or personal projects, understanding its dynamic nature.
• Bonus: Familiarity or keen interest in financial markets.

CTO Additional Requirements:

• Previous CTO experience, or a strong desire and capability to step into the role.
• Astute decision-making skills, especially amidst conflicting viewpoints.
• High emotional intelligence, coupled with a growth-centric mindset.
• Business acumen, specifically in negotiations.
